🌘 Discovering Beauty with the New Moon 🌒
Every Sunday before the New Moon, I lead a gathering of like-minded witches where we create a circle to hold our calling in and letting go. Through song, ritual, and community, these spaces serve as a container to plant seeds at the dark of the Moon. Rituals are 1 hour on Zoom, and your participation and voice are encouraged in the space which we create together.
Supplies…
A notebook and something to write with, an altar space, string, and scissors. All is optional.
A history…
I have been practicing ritual since I can remember. My mom held rituals for women and queer people at the solstices and equinoxes throughout my childhood. As an adult, I have been holding rituals both in person and online around the New and Full Moons. I identify as Jewish and a witch. I also identify as a teacher. I find immense joy and purpose in creating spaces for others to explore their own spirituality, which is always centered in the creation of a circle — community that establishes sacred space through presence and intention.

🦋 Discovering Beauty through Tarot 🦋
Once a month over Zoom we will gather to take a deep dive into Tarot. Over the course of one hour, we will:
Explore two Major Arcana cards related to the theme of the Lunar month
Learn about one minor arcana card and use its message to do some personal exploration around a question
End by reading together, using a question generated by the group.
I will present and teach, and create a community space where we can learn from each other.

A history…
I have been reading the cards all of my life, a practice passed down by my mom. I created my own Tarot deck, Discovering Beauty Tarot, and am a professional Tarot reader. I love the Tarot, and I love teaching and learning about the cards.

✨ Discovering Beauty through Art ✨
Each month, I will lead an hour-long art workshop that will function both as a lesson and a creative incubator. I will present a prompt centered around a theme or story, originating from the message of the Lunar month. Together we will work to illustrate this prompt, using reference images and our imaginations, growing technical skill along with the muscle of our creativity.
Supplies…
Paper or a dedicated sketchbook, an erasable pencil, and permanent materials for adding contrast and color, like pens, markers, watercolor paints, or anything you love using. If a month asks for a specific material, I will let you know, but all gatherings can be participated in with whatever you have.
A history…
I have been teaching art to others for over ten years. I worked as an elementary art teacher for six years, and led a sketch club in person for two years. I believe that as adults, we have a responsibility towards tending to our imaginations and creativity. I believe that art has the power to change the world, and each individual has a piece and a place in this work. I have an undergraduate degree in art and a graduate degree in illustration.
