Something has been waiting in the dark.

This winter, we invite you to join us for a week-long journey toward the longest night of the year.

Together, we’ll explore the parts of ourselves that have been relegated to the shadows. The parts we’ve learned to ignore, to hide.

Through dreamwork, movement, meditation, bodywork, journaling, art, Tarot, and ritual, we’ll make space to notice what’s there and listen for what wants to be seen.

Instead of banishing the darkness, instead of turning away from the parts of ourselves we don’t always understand, we will create space to enter the darkness, together.

There will be two live ritual gatherings over Zoom, daily practices to explore at home, and an optional mid-week check-in.

This is a small gathering, limited to 20 participants.

The Guides

Sophia + Liz

We met when we were 11 years old and started practicing ritual together as children.

Our paths have taken us through art, Tarot, yoga, social work, Somatic Experiencing®, death care, grief, spirituality, and ritual.

We’re currently co-creating an oracle deck about death practices from around the world.

This gathering grows out of that shared practice, our shared history, and the questions we keep returning to in our own lives.

Sophia Litwak is an artist, illustrator, Tarot reader, yoga teacher, and ritual leader living in Paris. She is the creator of Discovering Beauty Tarot.

Liz Mello is a social worker, Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner, and certified Death Doula living in Florianópolis, Brazil. She works with people and families around trauma, grief, death, and major life transitions.
